Growing up as a child you've been taught wrongfully that you should drink milk and follow something called a food pyramid. 75% of African Americans and 90% of Asians are lactose intolerant to some level. The "Got Milk" slogan and the pyramid are marketing schemes that the education board is paid off to sell. The top of the pyramid basically tells you to stay away from fats and forgets that healthy fats is actually a good way to lose weight and keep your internal system running properly. It tells you to eat a lot of fruits (which fructose is a type of simple sugar) that would spike your blood sugar level and make you store your carbs as fat rather than utilizing it as energy (unless you're on insulin). Serving two day old pizza and cheaply made nachos that even the cafeteria ladies wouldn't eat and stuffing vending machines with snacks and soda does not make the schools look too good. The ๐ฌ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, have your kids bring their own lunch.
